HSSC/F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) / Equivalent with minimum 50% marks from any recognized Board in Punjab.
Maximum age limit: 35 years calculated on the last date of application. No relaxation beyond this limit shall be granted under any circumstances.
Candidate must possess Punjab domicile.
Only female candidates shall be eligible to apply for admission in all nursing colleges except College of Nursing, Government Teaching Hospital, Shahdara where all seats are reserved for male candidates.
Merit shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in F.Sc (Pre-Medical).
In case of a tie, marks in Matriculation/SSC/Equivalent shall be considered. If the tie persists, seniority by age shall decide merit.
Candidates must apply only through the centralized online admission portal (portals.uhs.edu.pk).
Candidates applying for admission shall provide an Order of Preference for all nursing colleges. The candidate has to select all colleges in the desired Order of Preference. The application shall be editable until the closing date of admission; however, the number of preferences and their order cannot be changed after the last date for submission of the online application. Any college not so selected shall not be considered for admission.
Required documents (scanned copies) must be uploaded: CNIC (front and back), domicile, Matric and F.Sc certificates/result cards duly verified by the respective BISE.
Application processing fee is Rs. 500/- (non-refundable). Fee voucher shall be generated from the portal. Payment shall be made at the Bank of Punjab (BOP)/National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) via branch banking or 1Bill (top-up option may not be used). Fee receipt must be uploaded with the online application.
Applications submitted by post or manually will not be entertained.
Only duly submitted online applications with complete documents and paid fee shall be processed.
An applicant shall be eligible subject to fulfillment of the following conditions:
Diploma in General Nursing with at least 60% marks, duly registered with the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC), Islamabad.
In addition to clause (i), for female applicants: Diploma in Midwifery with at least 60% marks, duly registered with PNMC; or for male applicants: One-year Post-Basic Specialty Diploma with at least 60% marks, duly registered with PNMC, in lieu of Midwifery.
A minimum of two (02) years of regular Government service, to be calculated up to the last date of application.
No availing of any diploma or degree training in the public or private sector during the three (03) years immediately preceding the last date of application.
No pending or ongoing disciplinary proceedings.
Adhoc or contract employees are not eligible.
At least 40% marks in the UHS Entry Test for Post R.N. admissions.
Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a certified public-sector medical institution.
Maximum age: fifty-five (55) years, to be calculated as on the last date of application. No age relaxation beyond fifty-five (55) years shall be admissible in any case.
Domicile of any district of the Province of Punjab.

Applications shall be submitted exclusively through the centralized online admission portal at admissions.uhs.edu.pk/post-rn.
Applicants seeking admission to public sector nursing colleges shall apply through their respective institutions and must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Submission of a valid NOC shall be mandatory for completion of the application.
Applicants shall be required to select and submit an Order of Preference for all above referred nursing colleges. All colleges must be selected in the desired order. The application may be edited up to the closing date; however, the number and order of preferences shall become final upon expiry of the last date for online submission. Any college not selected shall not be considered for admission.

An application processing fee of Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable) shall be payable. Proof of payment shall be uploaded with the application.
